Giddy...
...is just about the right word to describe it...Tomorrow, our 'neighborhood' is going to look like this:
They're almost ready now! Today's walk in to work reveal that all the booths are almost entirely set up, and dozens of the artists are already here, unloading their beautiful wares; the performing arts stages are all up, and a sound-check was going on about 8:30; 3rd Street is now offically closed all the way through; and I can almost taste the corny dogs.

Nah...it's taken from our street--well, a perch above our street--but it's a few blocks east of us...

However, you CAN see my building (the building Sarah used to work in). It's the black shiny building up near the courthouse to the right. I walk out the front door and voila! -- I'm at the arts festival! Okay, that's not as cool as living downtown, but, hey, it's still fun.
