After 4 great days off, it's back to work at the new job. Part of my responsibilities there include being part of the team overseeing the build-out of the new floor we're taking in at the Oil and Gas Building, in Fort Worth.

We are supposed to be moving in by the first of the year. What do you think?

Soon, one of these empty spaces will be my office! I have no idea which one.

And I got here at 5:40!
Poached eggs with beef tenderloin, and hollandaise sauce.
...a peppermint mocha latte, courtesy of my loverly wife!
Doesn't Matte Stephens playful and gorgeous art just make you happy looking at it? It does me!
Matte is introducing some new art at the moment, and is selling originals through Velocity Art and Design.
The original of NYC is still available:
Now that we have my Grandmother's birthday party all planned, it's time to turn our attention to my dad, which begs the eternal question 'What do you get for a man who has everything who has every Xbox game and only plays Halo?'
I know quality time is really the best answer, but how to make it special? I think this year, we'll do an improv zombie attack:

...celebrating her last day at my previous place of emloy, where she
has worked hard two-days-a-week for the last two years. Yah, for you,
baby.
The world is full of beautiful things, creative, fun things, and more
and more of them are winding up at our house (like the finger-painting
above by Bubby and Jenni).
Coming very soon will be posts on more of these exciting things, like:
• Bubby's first attempts at painting
• My first attempts at painting
• Fun new stuff by Jenni
• Groovy crafty stuff Sarah sent
• New art from Matte Stephens!

Happy Birthday to a super-swell guy! My older brother Matthew turns [a prime number] today, and we are happy to celebrate with him. He is and has been such a blessing to our little family, since before it even existed. We have had the privilege of watching him grow and stretch and be real and struggle and overcome and succeed wildly in the last several years and also in this very last year, and we could not have more desires for his happiness and success than we do.
We love you a bunch, Matty. You are an awesome brother to me and Jenni, and a super uncle to Noah.
