Despite what the name suggests, Box of Happy knows that not all Christmas gifts come in boxes (or even bags). For those giving the gift of plastic this year, specifically gift cards/certificates, why not purchase a lovely handmade gift card sleeve to present it to the lucky recipient?
Visit BoxofHappy.com to see more wonderful handmade goodies, and be sure to make Etsy your first stop for handmade gifts this season. We'll be highlighting more unique gift ideas as the Christmas season really sets in.
Falling under the joint category of "Things that I wish I had thought of" and "Things that make my laugh my heiny off," the new website LetMeGoogleThatForYou.com:
(via the mahvelous swissmiss)Basically, when someone asks you a question to which their obvious answer should be to Google it on their lazy own, you make a link on Let Me Google That for You which basically creates a little video of the mouse moving and then typing in the search into Google. You then send the link of that video to the lazy user.
Nice day, fun new construction, at the end of Seventh Street, just
down from where we live.
You know that around here, we like to Keep Calm and Carry On, but who are we kidding? The holidays are mere weeks away, with gifts to be bought, parties to be planned, and turkeys to be roasted, making it an excellent time to now panic and freak out.

We are the change we've been waiting for, and it's our time now!
If you're not going to be spending the evening celebrating at some fancy victory party (Driskill or Hilton, anyone?), you can at least have a barrel of fun at home playing Election Night Bingo! First person to get 5 Red or Blue states in a row wins!
What is a Barack Obama presidency going to look like? We're about to get to witness it and be involved in it first-hand, but if you want a preview, enjoy...
...and we are about to. We are mere hours away from change we can believe in. Not Barack Obama, but ourselves. I woke up with goosebumps this morning and still have them. I suspect they're going to be here for a while, at least through this evening's returns. You probably already smiling, too, and if not, here you go.
