Obviously we're big LEGO fans here. Building stuff with Bubby, and creating new things, and making LEGO angels in the piles of colorful bricks at SXSW--we just love LEGOs.
When I see something this cool involving LEGOs, however, it makes me question what I'm doing with my life:

Not everyone is so happily coupled as my last post betrays is the case with me and my loverly wife. For such people, Valentine's Day may be an unwanted reminder of hands not being held, kisses not being stolen, flowers not being received, and dates not being had.
Lucky for them, Valentine's Day just so happens to coincide with another major holiday:
Today, February 3rd, 2009, is the 8th anniversary of me getting to marry my best friend! I had a wonderful life before marrying my wife, but these 8 years have easily been the best of my life so far. She has been my wonderful friend, my romantical, loverly wife, a couple years into our marriage put on the hat of awesome mom, and I can't say enough about how much I love her and how grateful I am that she is mine and I am hers.
Truly, I could go on and on, but honestly have had little time to write the prose she deserves. However, if you know us, or if you have just visited this blog much, you know she is the love of my life, and that I truly am deeply in love with her.
Happy anniversary, baby. I love you very much and will always be yours.
On the way home from church--well, just after Fuzzy's Tacos--we stopped at Asel Art Supply off 7th Street, just cos. We are art supply junkies, and love fresh paper and colored pencils and paint and canvases even if we don't need them.
I am also a kneaded eraser freak, and upon seeing that Mercur now makes them in burn-your-eyes-out color, had to have some.
